Visually speaking, this spherical lampshade may remind you of your childhood, and weaving strips of paper to make a basket with a decorative pattern. The light-coloured lampshade on this floor lamp boasts a similar surface structure, except in this case the pattern is created by lots of chessboard-like openings. Turning the light on is a real pleasure as the light effect is extremely effective. The room itself is also treated to a wonderful interplay of light and shadow.

The lampshade is really special: It is produced in Germany using a special 3D print procedure and is made of a biomaterial, which is made solely from renewable raw materials produced without mineral oil or toxic chemicals. The focus here is on sustainable production with green electricity and zero emissions. The design can only be made using a 3D print procedure and is thus totally unique. A further benefit of the 3D print procedure is the zero-waste technology. This means that there are no superfluous scrap pieces – the only parts produced belong to the lampshade.
