Orbit wall light with beech-coloured lampshade made of veneered wood

With its sophisticated look, the oval Orbit wall light adorns any wall. Orbit was designed by Spanish designer Miguel Herranz and is a simple wall lamp whose shape is created by twisting a piece of wood veneer by hand. Depending on the direction of the twist – i.e. the way in which the wood veneer is twisted – two designs are possible.

The light from the Orbit wall light is diffused both upwards and downwards through its two openings, and an inner glow radiates outwards, emphasising the beauty of the wood veneer's grain. Essentially, the light orbits the Orbit, just as the Earth orbits the Sun.
