LED desk lamp NJP - classic design meets modern functionality The designer Oki Sato and his Japanese design studio nendo have created a desk lamp that is second to none. NJP is a reinterpretation of the classic architect's lamp and is equipped with two joints that allow flexible adjustment to the optimum position. The exposed springs in the arm joints have a slightly industrial look. The rear shade opening towards the arm also allows the head to be infinitely adjusted, while the integrated LED unit is optimally ventilated. NJP emits glare-free, horizontal light. At the same time, it is reflected via the rear part of the ergonomically shaped head, which also illuminates the upper part of the arm. The inside of the shade is painted white for optimum light reflection, and two brightness levels can be set via a switch on the head and a 4- or 8-hour Timer is integrated. An ideal task light that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of design and function. The Danish luminaire manufacturer Louis Poulsen, which primarily adheres to the maxim "Form follows function", takes a different approach with this product from the design studio nendo, in which the minimalist expression contains small signs and details that evoke memories.
