Unique design featuring handblown glass – the Lute pendant light

A true statement piece: the Lute pendant light takes its shape from the musical instrument of the same name. The metal cap serves both to create a tapered effect towards the top and as an elegant design feature. At the same time, it clearly evokes the plucked string instrument.

The design is by the Danish label EBB & FLOW, which specialises in decorative lights in the Nordic style. The founder, Susanne Nielsen, always emphasises the combination of materials such as glass, fabric and metal. Lute was awarded the German Design Award Special 2019.

The lampshade is made of handblown glass. Each light is unique; due to the manufacturing process, there may be minor variations such as small air bubbles, etc.
