Decorative Meteorite table lamp with base by Artemide

The Meteorite table lamp – designed by brothers Pio & Tito Toso – captivates with its unique light character. This is the result of a special manufacturing process based on Venetian tradition, in which the glass is dipped in acid and then treated with sand.

The two designers, who set up their own studio shortly after completing their architecture studies, come from Venice and drew on their knowledge of this traditional manufacturing technique when developing Meteorite. The name Meteorite comes from the visual similarity to the cosmic formation of the same name, which is created by the glass structure and shape.
