Think Paper Globe cardboard table lamp, Ø 64 cm

Globe Designer Table Lamp – a sphere made from strips of cardboard

Think Paper is a Dutch designer lighting manufacturer that produces unique lights characterised by their own distinctive style. One such light is the Globe table lamp, which consists solely of a lampshade made from strips of cardboard. The cardboard strips have been arranged and glued by hand, with particular attention paid to the material’s beautiful colour variations.

The spherical lampshade of the Globe table lamp is a delight whether switched on or off, as the varying colours of the cardboard strips – with their different thicknesses and corrugations – not only create beautiful colour nuances but also form delicate openings through which the light shines, effectively showcasing the lampshade. Whether placed as a single light on a table, a sideboard, etc., or arranged in groups of various sizes – even on the floor – the Globe table lamp creates its very special and natural effect wherever it is placed.
