Plug & Shine meets ZigBee: The robust Plug & Shine ZigBee LED deck light with IP code 65 and Warm White

Made from stainless steel, dust-tight and protected against water jets – there is much to say about this ZigBee-enabled LED deck light from the Plug & Shine series. It can also withstand loads of up to 500 kg and, last but not least, impresses with its modern design. It is therefore a thoroughly impressive choice for outdoor use.

The light emits light with a low colour temperature of 2,200 K. This colour temperature is in line with recommendations from professional associations and scientific studies aimed at reducing the attractiveness of artificial lighting to many nocturnal insects.

Furthermore, this Plug & Shine recessed light requires no additional controller and can be integrated directly into a smart home system via a ZigBee-enabled bridge. The Paulmann smik gateway is available separately as an accessory and also provides a free app. Once integrated, the light can be switched on and off and dimmable, and the colour temperature can also be conveniently adjusted within the warm white range via a smartphone. The smik app is compatible with Amazon Alexa, allowing for voice control as well.

Alternatively, the Plug & Shine recessed floor light can be operated entirely without a bridge using Paulmann’s Gent remote control. This, like a double wall switch, is also available separately as an accessory. If a ZigBee-based smart home system is already in place, the light can be integrated into it and controlled via that system.
