Constantine Wortmann, one half of the Hopf & Wortmann design team, has been head designer at the Cologne-based designer light manufacturer for many years. A glance at both the form of the DNA Quattro pendant light and its title give an indication of the inspiration that drove the designers when developing the light. The structural model of a DNA molecule, i.e. the molecule that makes each of us a unique living being, is the basic shape of this extraordinary pendant light.
