Integrated dimmer: The elegant Mercer table lamp made of hand-blown glass The body of the elegant Mercer table lamp is made of hand-blown glass. A small opening, through which the power cable is fed, is located at the lower edge of the base. The socket for an E27 bulb, which can be purchased separately via the accessories, is installed in the upper section, which acts as a lampshade. As Mercer has an integrated dimmer switch on the power cable, dimmable bulbs are particularly suitable. An upright diffuser made of pearl white polyester is used in the lampshade to create a slightly subdued light, which also ensures that there is no glare effect. This is supported by an opal white disc, which is placed on top as an additional diffuser. Despite its simple shape, Mercer impresses with its soft design, which is particularly characterised by the arrangement of the materials used. And this was precisely the aim of its creators: the designers Joan Gaspar and Javier M. Borrás.
