With organic LEDs – high-quality OMLED OLED f5 floor lamp

The OMLED One range of lights is the first family of lights in the world to have groundbreaking OLEDs as their light source. The “organic light-emitting diode” combines many economic and ecological benefits. It consists of thin layers of organic semi-conductive materials, which sit between two conductive layers and emit light as long as electricity flows. The OLEDs emit light that is free from UV and IR rays and generates a pleasant room atmosphere.

The manufacturer of these lights uses new, innovative technology to produce the OMLED One range. This patented technology sees the glass housing of the light serve as the circuit board as well as the operating element. Tracks, contacts, electronic components and a dimmer switch are all placed directly onto the high-quality glass. Thus there is no need for a separate plastic circuit board and the installation height of the light can be significantly reduced. The glass housing serves as both the circuit board and the heat sink. Five squares on the top panel house the electronic components to create expansive lighting.

All components used in this OMLED OLED One f5 floor lamp have been made in Germany.
