Designer pendant light 101 with hand-folded lampshade made of plastic film The tradition of the lighting company Le Klint, the manufacturer of this unique pendant light, goes back to the early years of the 20th century. Back then, the architect P.V. Jensen-Klint produced the first folded lampshade for a paraffin lamp. From that time onwards, the Klint family continued to tinker and tinker with this lampshade, developing it further and making it a favourite family gift for friends and relatives. In 1943, Tage Klint turned the family's hobby of tinkering into a profession and founded the lamp company Le Klint, whose trademark is still the hand-folded lampshades. Just like back then, every single lampshade is still made by hand in Odense on Funen, which makes each pendant light 101 a truly unique piece. Many of the designs from the company's early years are still among the brand's bestsellers today. The pendant light 101, also known as the "fruit lantern" or the "tilt light", are two lights from the early days that can still be found everywhere today.
