Big Battery decorative LED table lamp by Ferruccio Laviani
As a designer light, Big Battery combines modern and classic elements in its design. The shape is classic, consisting of a base and a lampshade. What is modern is the way this form has been realised – namely, by manufacturing the table lamp entirely from plastic.
Big Battery was designed by the Italian designer Ferruccio Laviani, who has already created many successful designs for both Kartell and other renowned furniture and lighting manufacturers. Laviani studied at the Milan Polytechnic and was a student of Achille Castiglioni and Marco Zanuso, amongst others.
Kartell is a Milan-based furniture and lighting manufacturer that uses plastic exclusively as its material. Renowned designers create everyday objects, furniture and lights for Kartell.
