Kalimantan ceiling light with hand-crafted bamboo lampshade
With its hand-crafted bamboo lampshade, the Kalimantan ceiling light becomes an urban light source that brings the aesthetics of nature into the home. The flat-shaped lampshade, crafted using a weaving technique, creates a beautiful lighting effect thanks to its many small gaps. The natural colour of the bamboo creates a cosy atmosphere in any living space and makes the light a versatile addition to a wide range of interiors. The plant-based lampshades are largely handcrafted by artisans in small villages in Vietnam and are made from 100 per cent sustainable, renewable raw materials.
Kalimantan is a product from the Dutch brand Good & Mojo. The company sells sustainable lights whilst also doing good for other people and the environment. It supports the WakaWaka Foundation, which provides solar products to people living off the grid, and has been a supporter of Eden Projects since 2019. A tree is planted for every light sold.
