LED table lamp Chapeaux M - an effective designer piece by Rodolfo Dordoni Chapeaux M is part of a series of table lamps created by Italian designer Rodolfo Dordoni for Foscarini. Characterised by its hat-shaped diffuser, Chapeaux is a table lamp based on maximum synthesis and simplification, consisting of three parts that simply build on each other. A Pyrex support that almost disappears from view, a floating light core that encloses and conceals all the technical components, and a metal lampshade that sits on the base like a hat. The lamp is elegant and discreet when not in use and creates a surprising effect when it is switched on. The light is indirect and soft: it dips gently into the transparent Pyrex body and makes its thickness perceptible. To achieve this, Foscarini has developed a special lighting element: a light source in the shape of a small bottle that emits the light and reflects it on the sides, inside the diffusers, to reach the light.

Rodolfo Dordoni, architect, product designer, artistic director and designer of showrooms and exhibitions created some of the most famous designs in Italian design, such as the Lumiere light he designed for Foscarini.
