Foscarini Gem glass pendant light, E27

Foscarini Gem pendant light made from handblown glass

An artistic pattern of waves and reliefs adorns the surface of the spherical Gem pendant light, which has been part of the range from the Venetian lighting manufacturer Foscarini since 2017. In all of Foscarini’s products, great importance is attached to high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship – and the Gem is no exception. The satin-finished lampshade is made from handblown, acid-etched glass. A particularly distinctive feature is the relief-like etching in the form of a linear pattern that runs across the entire surface. The harmonious interplay of parallel and intersecting lines is perfectly showcased when light falls upon it. The elegance and lightness of the Gem pendant light are further emphasised by the slender suspension system from which the spherical diffuser appears to float.

The designer duo Ludovica & Roberto Palomba have run their own design studio in Milan since 1994 and collaborate with many international brands in the fields of architecture and interior design. Numerous awards bear witness to their international success.

The Gem pendant light comes complete with an LED bulb with an E27 socket, which is dimmable using TRIAC technology.
