Foscarini Filo wall light, Eastern Coral

Filo decorative wall light with a striking look

With its eye-catching design, the Filo wall light becomes a truly special focal point in the home and looks particularly good in the living room or hallway. Thanks to its range of colour options, it blends effortlessly into various interior styles – either as a subtle source of light or as a colourful light that adds a vibrant accent to the living space. Filo is composed of various elements and materials. The frame is made of metal, the cable has a fabric sheath, and there are two decorative elements crafted from handblown, handcrafted glass, as well as a white porcelain lampshade that encloses the bulb and casts a warm, glare-free light into the surrounding area.

The Filo series is based on a design by the Italian designer Andrea Anastasio. His aim was to showcase the individual elements of a light, as well as its aesthetics and technology. He also wanted the decorative components to be shown to their best advantage, as these normally play only a secondary role in the design of a light. The different materials and elements stand out on their own whilst simultaneously blending together to form a harmonious whole.
