Foscarini LED pendant Chouchin Reverse 1 - classic with reversed colour

The Chouchin series of lamps from Foscarini was created through the inspiration of the different shapes of Japanese lanterns. These traditional lanterns can still be seen today in restaurants or houses all over Japan and are often used as souvenirs. The French designer Ionna Vautrin used these lanterns and created a modern reinterpretation as a light object for modern living rooms, bars or restaurants.

A total of three different forms have been created, which also differ in colour. If the actual Chouchin models are equipped with a coloured glass shade and white ring as a contrast, the revese version reverses this colouring. The Chouchin Reverse 1 thus has a white satinised lampshade with an orange ring on the underside. In contrast to the original version, the Chouchin Reverse 1 LED pendant light not only shines downwards, but also shines into the room through the white glass shade. This creates a special, atmospheric light.
