Foscarini LED pendant light Aplomb large – wide-beam light made of hand-cast concrete

The material used for the lampshade of the LED pendant light Aplomb large is rather unusual. Concrete, which is normally heavy and rough, is used here to create an elegant, light-looking light. This is made possible by the complex manufacturing process. Aplomb is manufactured with skilled craftsmanship by Italian experts in cement processing. The biggest challenge here is to create a low material thickness. This is made possible by a special mixture that remains particularly fluid during casting and can thus be carefully poured into shape. The added colour pigments cover the natural grey of the material without changing its feel and roughness.

Thanks to the built-in LED technology, the Aplomb large pendant light shines a warm white light directly downwards. Due to the rather wide dispersion of the light, the Aplomb light is suitable for illuminating dining tables, counters or kitchen islands.
