Grass M pendant light with a handcrafted lampshade made from rattan and abacá

The Grass M pendant light was designed by product designer Jette Scheib and, through its harmonious overall design, conveys a sense of tranquillity that is reflected in the traditional weaving process. The light’s round lampshade is made from the natural materials rattan and abacá and is divided into strips in a range of warm colours. These are reminiscent of the fields where the material used for basket weaving grows. The light adds an attractive, natural touch to the living area and creates a cosy atmosphere. Grass M is ideal for hanging above the dining or living room table, for example.

Production of the Grass series of lights is in the hands of the French lighting manufacturer Forestier. The company was founded in 1992 by Bernard Forestier and is committed to connecting with people and culture on a daily basis.
