A sphere made of white opal glass – the Mini Glo Ball C/W ceiling light by FLOS
Timeless design – that is the hallmark of the Mini Glo Ball C/W by designer Jasper Morrison. Both form and material are equally expressive of a classic design. The white opal body, made of etched, handblown glass, is shaped like a sphere with slightly flattened poles. In this respect, the shape of the light is reminiscent of our globe, which is not quite perfectly spherical either.
Jasper Morrison, who designed the Glo Ball series of lights for the lighting manufacturer FLOS, sought to achieve the widest possible light distribution whilst retaining a certain aesthetic appeal. He has succeeded brilliantly in achieving this combination with the Mini Glo Ball ceiling light, which can also be fitted as a wall light. The light emitted by this light is guaranteed to be glare-free and particularly soft thanks to the opal glass.
