TRIBE F2 is a floor lamp designed by Philippe Starck that impresses with its ultra-modern appearance and sets new standards in design. The outer shape of the lampshade and frame is classic, while the materials used – polycarbonate and PMMA – are very modern. The use of a second, inner shade can be described as innovative. This is made of translucent white polycarbonate and has a rounded shape. However, in two of the three available versions, this is only partially visible, as the outer shade is coated in silver or bronze-coloured aluminium and is only truly translucent in the upper part. This means that the light escapes mainly downwards, contributing to an atmospheric ambience – and, of course, enhancing the overall look of the room with the modern presence of the designer floor lamp. In the other version of the floor lamp, with a lampshade that is transparent except for fine lines, which is no less attractive but even clearer and more minimalist in appearance, the inner lampshade is completely visible, illuminating the room more evenly.
