This LED outdoor wall light from the In Vitro series is high-quality and robust. French designer Philippe Starck, who has already designed many classic lights for Italian designer lighting manufacturer FLOS, has once again opted for the simplicity that characterises so many of his designs: no unnecessary frills or details, just pure beauty and functionality.

The body of the In Vitro light is made of die-cast and extruded aluminium with a powder-coated finish. Clear borosilicate glass has also been used. The LEDs are located behind an opal diffuser in the upper part of the light, so that the light is mainly scattered downwards. This allows areas around the house and the entrance area to be illuminated.

The FLOS company began developing and producing designer lighting in the 1960s. The company's products and its designers have received the Compasso d'Oro, Italy's most prestigious industrial design award, on numerous occasions. The Red Dot Design Award is another of the accolades that FLOS has received for its products.
