Almendra Organic LED pendant light with three swivelling light fittings Thanks to its unusual design, the Almendra Organic LED pendant light makes for a distinctive light source in the living room or dining room. However, it is equally suitable for use in public spaces. The hanging light consists of a slender frame that splits roughly in the middle, with a light fixture attached to each end. These modules can be rotated by 60°, allowing the light to be directed in the desired direction. Using an external dimming system (1–10 V, DALI, push-dim, potentiometer), it is also possible to adjust the brightness of the light. Almendra was conceived by the designer and architect Patricia Urquiola, who always places her projects and work in the context of human experience. The plastic used is a by-product obtained during the paper-making process. Patricia Urquiola has been awarded several international prizes.
