Almendra Linear 3-bulb LED pendant light with swivelling light fixtures The design of the Almendra Linear LED pendant light is intended to evoke the shells of an open almond, connected by a slender tubular structure. From there, the pleasantly warm light is radiated into the room and distributed evenly. The hanging light is made of aluminium and is suitable, for example, for illuminating a living room or dining room table. The individual modules can be rotated by 60° to adjust the direction of the light. Furthermore, the brightness can be adjusted using an external dimmable system (1–10 V, DALI, push-dim, potentiometer). The hanging light was designed by the Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola. She always begins her projects by establishing an empathetic connection with the user and placing objects in relation to people. In the Almendra series, too, a plastic derived from a by-product of paper production was used.
