Translucent pendant lamp Stick with Ayous wood designIn a way, the pendant lamp Stick appears to be an overloaded something, which only turns out to be a structure on closer inspection. This pendant lamp is cone-shaped, with more than a dozen wooden sticks at a slight angle to restrict the light transmission. However, only in such a way that light in this way absorbs some of the natural wood colour and emits it into the room. With a height of 64 cm and a diameter of 50 cm, this pendant lamp is ideal as an addition to the living room or dining room. Both LED and energy-saving lamps that correspond to the E27 socket can be used. The designer Matali Crasset has designed this construction made of Ayous wood and metal struts for the Italian lamp manufacturer Fabbian. Since the beginning of the 1960s, they have been developing designer lamps in Treviso, Italy, that are timelessly elegant and functional at the same time. In this way, natural elements, such as wood, are used. They thus become a decorative object that is superior to practically any modern luminaire.
