Kabuki designer pendant light with lace-look shade The shade of the Kabuki pendant light is characterised on the one hand by modern materials and manufacturing processes and on the other by its special structure, which is reminiscent of elegant lace with its many small cut-outs. Kabuki is made from thermoplastic technopolymer, which is processed using injection moulding. The many small openings in the lampshade create an interesting play of light when the light is switched on. The Italian architect and designer Ferruccio Laviani designed the Kabuki light series in his role as art director for Kartell. Kartell became famous for its plastic furniture, lights and everyday objects. Designer pieces such as the K 1340 children's chair, the KS1481 lemon squeezer and the 4032 Tic Tac light have been created on behalf of Kartell over the past decades and are now classics of their kind.
