A light sculpture made of wood: the designer floor lamp Diva by Natedal & Egset, including dimmer

Approaching the design of a light with a playful spirit is the secret of the light manufacturer, whose designers - Peter Natedal & Thomas Kalvatn Egset - designed the floor lamp Diva. In this light, several wooden slats (6.5 mm plywood with a 1.5 mm-thick oak or walnut lamination) create a cage-like structure around a mouth-blown satin-finished glass ball. Equipped with a G9 light bulb with a wattage of 60 W, Diva radiates from the inside and produces a pleasant and warm effect due to the wooden frame. The lighting can also be adjusted to one’s personal taste using the pull-cord dimmer. Thus, this product is ideal for being installed in a natural ambience and offers the possibility to enhance this through an appealing new design feature.

The designer floor lamp Diva is a sign of respect shown by the designers to the woodworking mastered in Norway and a testament to the modern usability of this material.
