Aura: a round LED ceiling light with a beautiful lighting effect

Aura is a classic, round, low-profile LED ceiling light made of aluminium, fitted with an LED strip running all the way round behind a satin-finished diffuser. This diffuser is framed on both sides by a metal ring. The LEDs emit a warm white light colour through the cover, and some of the light also passes through the narrow gap towards the centre of the light.

The attractive design, the slim profile of just 4 cm and the pleasant, bright light output make this ceiling light a versatile light source suitable for many rooms; it is also dimmable using an external dimmer (triac). It was manufactured in Germany, more specifically in Limbach in the Odenwald, where the manufacturer Bopp Leuchten has been crafting home lighting on a hand-based basis since 1912.

The Aura LED ceiling light is compatible with the Casambi module or the ZigBee module. Both modules are available as accessories and, when used in conjunction with the necessary accessories (Casambi app, Wi-Fi gateway and a ZigBee-based bridge), enable smart lighting control via an app on a smartphone or tablet.
