Designer ceiling light Decomposé with attractive lampshade The frame and lampshade of the ceiling light with the interesting name Decomposé (French for "decompose") merge into one another at the point where the disintegration, i.e. the decomposition, seems to begin. It is almost reminiscent of a roll of streamers in which the individual layers take on a life of their own. The light emitted hits each individual Ring on its way into the room, projecting an interesting interplay of light and shadow. A ceiling light that attracts everyone's attention even when switched off. Decomposé is a design by the Swiss Atelier Oï. Founded by Patrick Reymond, Aurel Aebi and Armand Louise in 1991, the Atelier's name is an onomatopoeic snippet taken from the Russian word "troïka" for "threesome". In their work, they do not follow the principle of "form follows function", but rather focus on the material in their experimental designs. The Decomposé ceiling light is part of the product range of the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide from Italy, which is known for its select design objects and collaboration with renowned designers from all over the world - made in Italy
