The Karl table lamp: antique charm, rustic look Classic designs and models from around 1900 were the inspiration for the Karl table lamp. Its hallmarks are the elegantly curved lampshade made of mouth-blown glass with a brass crown and the frame with a special surface treatment. This involves colouring a patina into the brass rather than painting it. This creates an appearance that is almost indistinguishable from the original patina of antique lamps. A dry cloth is preferable for cleaning, cleaning agents are taboo; a light shine can be achieved by wiping with a little olive oil.
