KDLN - LIGHT AS PHILOSOPHY
kdln: The word comes from Sanskrit and refers to the energy within each person that, if you make the effort to discover it, leads to enlightenment. And with the slogan "Objects for inner enlightenment", kdln also makes it clear that the lights from this Italian company, which has been in existence since 1996, are not just about illuminating a room. Rather, the design company also wants its luminaires to illuminate the interior of the person entering the room.
In return, lights from kdln encourage people to make their own interpretations and exchange ideas about the lighting object. In order for this to happen, kdln does not simply follow the taste of the times in its designs. kdln lights even go so far as to have no "common something". The only thing all kdln lights have in common - and this makes them instantly recognisable to those in the know - is their individuality.
kdln lights are design objects that naturally provide optimum room lighting, but are also designed primarily as objects that touch the viewer and make them think.
