Artemide Ixa LED wall light, fixed arm, anthracite

The Ixa LED wall light with dimmer and adjustable beam

The Ixa series of lights from the Italian premium manufacturer Artemide is a concept by the design and architecture studio Foster & Partners, which was founded in 1967 by the renowned British architect Norman Foster.

Its distinctive feature is the almost spherical aluminium head, which, in this LED wall light, is supported by a steel arm that emerges vertically from the wall mount and, after a bend, extends horizontally into the room. The head can be rotated in all directions, allowing the direction of the light output to be adjusted as required. The warm white light, which also boasts good colour rendering (CRI 90), is switched on and dimmed via push-buttons on the head.

Ixa shines in living spaces, communal areas and commercial premises as an expression of functional and productive intelligence achieved through reduction and simplification – the result of sound design expertise.
