The funnel is made of satinised Glas, which encloses the G9 socket and forms the opening of the lampshade at the bottom. Thanks to this concept, the light shines out over the entire surface of the lampshade but does not dazzle. The borosilicate glass used is particularly light, which makes it practical for use in pendant lights.
