Asteria Table designer LED table lamp with warm white LEDs – designed in Scandinavian style

The Asteria Table LED table lamp from UMAGE was designed to meet the highest standards and is in keeping with the Nordic design tradition, which is based on simplicity and respect for nature and the environment. The subtle design with the characteristic features of Scandinavian minimalism was created by Danish designer and co-founder of the company, Søren Ravn Christensen, who had a very specific goal in mind with his design: "The illusion of weightlessness on the earth's surface had to be challenged by a lightweight construction that defies gravity."

With its round bronze base and graceful brass style, the Asteria Table has a timeless look. However, the contrasting colour of the lampshade gives it a fresh look and makes the construction appear light and weightless. The energy-saving LEDs are attached to the underside of the lampshade and provide pleasant and cosy lighting with warm white light, which is dimmable to suit your preferences and can be adapted to any situation. The integrated plastic diffuser distributes the light gently, evenly and glare-free throughout the room.

The Asteria Table can be used as a light source for your desk, as a bedside table lamp or to provide stylish lighting in your living and dining areas, and as a decorative interior design element to give the room a subtle Scandinavian touch. The light also has a USB port that can be used to charge your mobile phone, for example – even when it is switched off.

The Danish lighting company UMAGE by VITA copenhagen was founded in 2008 by the current CEO, Jacob Nannestad Hansen, and the designer and Chief Creative Developer, Søren Ravn Christensen. The design studio creates exceptional furniture and lights using high-quality materials and sophisticated craftsmanship.
