Light grey Eos mini table lamp with a feather lampshade and black metal base
A light grey lampshade made from real goose feathers and a slender, elegantly shaped black metal frame – these are the components of the Eos mini table lamp, a lamp that stands out simply because of the material used for its lampshade. Around 900 real goose feathers adorn the lampshade all round, lending the light a distinctive lightness. The black frame was designed by Anders Klem, who modelled the shape of the base on that of a champagne flute.
Functionality and modern technology – the Eos table lamp offers this too, as a USB port for charging a smartphone or tablet is integrated into the base. A pull switch fitted to the top of the frame ensures convenient operation.
Søren Ravn Christensen, the Danish co-founder of lighting manufacturer UMAGE, enchants with his Scandinavian-style designs, which draw inspiration from natural tones and the landscape.
- A hairdryer is recommended for cleaning the Eos mini table lamp
- No feathers from live animals are used
