Its ground-breaking technology enables digital adjustment of the nine detection zones and sensor sensitivity, which means a significant improvement in detection quality. The combination of five pyro sensors and innovative mirror technology means that radial and tangential movements are detected equally well, regardless of the walking direction. Detection zones can be activated and deactivated and the sensor sensitivity can be easily adjusted via the STEINEL Connect app. With a radius of up to 9 m for tangential and 6 m for radial motion, the IS 180 digi HD sets new standards in infrared sensor technology and offers significantly better detection than conventional motion detectors.
