2-bulb Poppy ceiling light with flexibly adjustable arms and effective glass shades in the shape of poppies The German-made Poppy ceiling light is the result of a collaboration between three designers - Ulrich Beckert, Georg Soanca-Pollak and Peter Thammer. The two lampshades are made of mouth-blown glass and are modelled on poppy blossoms - and not just because of their beautiful design: the petals are made of bimetal and open slowly after switching on until they are completely "blossomed" after about two minutes. When they cool down after being switched off, they close again automatically. In addition, the heads can be aligned as desired thanks to flexible arms made of textile-coated aluminium, which create the connection to the polished stainless steel canopy. Whether for arranging the light cones or purely for visual reasons: Poppy can therefore be highly customised and acts as an effective overall work of art. Note: To ensure the desired expansion of the bimetallic strips, the use of 35 W halogen bulbs is recommended. Suitable lamps are included in the scope of delivery.
