Philips Hue Ensis Bluetooth- and ZigBee-compatible LED pendant light for direct and indirect lighting

The Ensis pendant light is a real highlight in the world of versatile and smart interior lighting. It is fitted with one Hue Stripe facing upwards and one facing downwards, both featuring White+Color Ambiance technology, which can be controlled separately. This allows you to achieve, for example, direct, white, functional lighting and indirect, colourful ambient lighting at the same time. Ensis is particularly well suited for use above tables in the living and dining rooms.

The control options are also state-of-the-art. All you need is a tablet or smartphone with the Hue Bluetooth app or a Hue dimmer switch to control it. To create scenes in combination with other smart devices, control Ensis via voice commands using Google Home or Amazon Alexa, or manage it remotely via the Hue app, the LED pendant light can be integrated into Philips Hue and other ZigBee-based smart home systems via a bridge and router.

- Smart lighting control option b: Direct on-site control via Bluetooth using the free Hue Bluetooth app; this requires a smartphone or tablet running Android 7 or iOS 11 or later and supporting Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 4.0 or later. A router, Wi-Fi or data connection is not required. If using more than ten lights, the use of a bridge is recommended. A lamp can store connections with up to 15 smartphones/tablets; individual settings are assigned separately.
