The Calyne hybrid solar-powered outdoor wall light, with IP44 protection, can be operated either via solar power or a 230V mains connection. It can be used as a solar light. As soon as the rechargeable battery runs out, it automatically switches to mains power, ensuring reliable lighting all year round. The automatic light control via the twilight-controlled motion detector ensures greater convenience and security. The sensor reliably detects movement with a detection angle of up to 120° and a range of 8 m. The motion detector activates when the ambient brightness reaches 30 lux.

The light has four modes, which can be selected via a switch: 0 – Off; 1 – Continuous light; 2 – Light comes on only when movement is detected for 20 seconds; 3 – The light remains on continuously at 10 per cent brightness and illuminates at 100 per cent brightness for 20 seconds only when movement is detected. The runtime and charging time of the replaceable rechargeable battery are both 8 hours; the battery is charged solely by sunlight and not via the mains. With a colour temperature of 3000 K, the wall light produces a pleasant warm white light, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
