Berlin ceiling light with brass finish - can also be used as a wall light
Christophe Pillet is a French designer whose work is recognised worldwide and known for its optimised elegance. Pillet's designs are characterised by clarity and simplicity. With the Berlin ceiling light, he gives a traditional ceiling light an elegant and decorative character. The special feature of this light is that Berlin can be used as both a ceiling light and a wall light.
It combines round shapes with a mix of materials consisting of metal and sandblasted glass. A round metal ring with a satin brass finish holds a disc made of wire mesh glass through which the light from the two bulbs shines. This creates direct lighting that is filtered through the glass diffuser.
Pillet designed the Berlin light for Oluce, Italy's oldest lighting manufacturer. The company was founded in 1945 and sees all its works as stories that make the collection rich and diverse. Oluce's unique production quality is characterised by aesthetic and technological research.
