The basic elements of the Liila Star wall light consist of seven spherical lampshades arranged in a star shape by powder-coated metal struts. The spheres are made of handblown glass and meet the highest quality standards. The individual Scandinavian minimalist look is a unique interpretation of the classic chandelier. The light can also be used as a ceiling light, making it ideal for rooms with low ceilings.

As an extraordinary designer piece, the Liila Star is also a decorative furnishing item when switched off, combining timeless design with the highest quality. The Liila series is manufactured by the Danish lighting manufacturer Nuura Aps, which was founded in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg with the vision of producing high-quality luminaires inspired by Nordic light and the grace of Scandinavian nature. Lighting designer Sofie Refer firmly believes in the latest scientific and research findings, which prove that light has an enormous influence on mood and well-being. She has therefore made it her mission to design lights that have a positive effect on well-being. With the Liila collection, the designer has created lights whose glow is modelled on the sunshine of Scandinavia.
