The innovative functions of the Force One are not as obvious at first glance as its filigree and sophisticated design. The luminaire head, which has a very flat design with a height of 20 millimetres, projects enormously far above the work surface. This enables uniform and wide-area illumination. Thanks to the so-called softlight diffusers, which are made of translucent acrylic glass, in the upper and lower areas of the head, the luminaire can be used for direct and indirect lighting. These two options can be switched separately. Depending on the room and lighting conditions, the proportion of indirect light that is cast onto the ceiling is sufficient as basic lighting for the office. The entire operating technology of the Force One LED office floor luminaire is located in its base. Despite this fact, it was at the same time designed so that it does not protrude disturbingly into the walkway of an office and can be pushed under the table. Four height-adjustable feet make it easy to compensate for uneven floors. Despite its highly complex technology, the Force One is extremely simple to assemble. The frame of the luminaire contains two separate control units. The indirect light, the presence and ambient light detection and also the brightness of the warm white light can be controlled via these. If no movement is detected by the presence sensor within 60 minutes, the luminaire is switched to a standby mode. The daylight or ambient light sensor detects the brightness of the surroundings and continuously adjusts the light of the Force One to maintain an optimal brightness level. If necessary, the brightness can also be adjusted according to personal preferences. The memory function subsequently ensures that the last adjusted brightness is stored for the next use even after the luminaire is switched off.Another feature is the possibility of integrating several Force One LED office floor luminaires into a building management system. In this way, lighting scenarios and lighting groups can be created and, for example, seasonal and time-of-day-dependent light can be switched via a central control system. In addition to a building management system, Force One luminaires can also "communicate" with their neighbouring luminaires via radio technology. Thus, an intelligent lighting network can also be controlled with an app for specific lighting groups.
