Ray pendant light – spherical shade with adjustable oak element

With its innovative details, timeless design and natural touch, the Ray pendant light immediately catches the eye: an oak element is attached with magnets inside a painted, downward-opening steel hemisphere. This can be rotated so that the round light opening can be directed to the desired area.

The Scandinavian minimalist design comes from the Danish designer duo Pederjessen, who have been running their own studio since 2015. The founders, Søren Pedersen and Lasse Jessen, both studied industrial design at the University of Southern Denmark and are dedicated to designing furniture and lights. They take a holistic approach to product development, always on the lookout for new technologies and new materials. Their goal is to develop functional and timelessly aesthetic products that combine traditional and modern elements.

The Ray pendant light is crafted by Mater, a company that has been making a name for itself in the furniture and lighting sector since its founding in 2006 with exclusively designed products made from sustainable materials and traditional craftsmanship techniques.
