Eve LED Table Lamp – A Design Piece and Light Source
The Eve table lamp from Lumina Italia emits soft lighting in the form of a warm glow – a phenomenon that lies somewhere between the visible and the invisible. It consists of a high-quality cylinder made of borosilicate glass, within which the lamp’s entire mechanism is housed. At the top of the cylinder is a conical diffuser, whilst the LED light source is located at the bottom. The light emitted upwards is reflected by the diffuser, creating very pleasant, indirect lighting. A dimmer, in the form of a movable metal ring with a grooved surface, is built into the flat base of the table lamp.
The Eve LED table lamp was designed by Foster & Partners, one of the world’s most renowned architectural firms. Two of Foster & Partners’ most famous commissions are the redesigns of London’s Wembley Station and the Reichstag in Berlin.
