Timeless Toldbod 250 pendant light by Louis Poulsen Toldbod 250 is straightforward and has few details, resulting in a high degree of flexibility. It can illuminate a dining table or become an absolute eye-catcher in the room in a group installation at different heights. The light consists of a beautifully shaped lampshade made of matt lacquered aluminium. The Innes of the lampshade is white and acts as a kind of reflector, ensuring glare-free and even light distribution. It is precisely this characteristic that emphasises the mission of the brand manufacturer Louis Poulsen, namely to give light a form and illuminate a room without shining directly into people's eyes. The idea for Toldbod and the reflective interior is based on the PH Eclipse, the last spotlight concept by Poul Henningsen. Henningsen was a Danish architect, writer and, above all, luminaire designer who worked with Louis Poulsen from 1925 until his death.
