LED base luminaire Bysted Garden: gentle, direct downward lighting for outdoors The black LED base luminaire Bysted Garden provides safe illumination on the property. It is used to make bed borders, small walls or stairways visible, which can easily become a tripping hazard in the dark. During the day, the aesthetically designed light source becomes a decorative accessory on the grounds. The base luminaire is supplied with an earth piece for mounting in concrete and with an adapter. The adapter is positioned outside the luminaire and can be used to power up to four base luminaires. The maximum distance to the last base luminaire is 30 metres. Thanks to protection class IP65, Bysted is protected against the penetration of dirt and water jets. The light is emitted directly downwards in 4 rings, the white underside creating an effective reflection. A symmetrical light pattern is created on the floor around the luminaire. Note: The installation of the adapter must be done by a certified electrician. Bysted Garden is a smaller version of the classic Bysted luminaire by designer Peter Bysted. Almost 50 years ago, he won the second prize in a competition organised by the manufacturer Louis Poulsen for the lighting of districts with listed buildings.
