Bysted Garden LED pedestal light: soft, direct downward ambient lighting

The Bysted Garden LED pedestal light, designed in the trendy colour Corten, provides safe lighting on your property. It serves to highlight flower bed borders, small walls or stairways, which can easily become tripping hazards in the dark. During the day, the aesthetically designed light source becomes a decorative accessory on the property. The pillar light comes with a base plate and adapter for surface mounting. The adapter is positioned outside the light and can power up to four pillar lights. The distance to the last pillar light must not exceed 30 metres. Thanks to its IP code IP65, Bysted is protected against the ingress of dirt and water jets. The light is emitted directly downwards in four rings, with the white underside creating an effective reflection. This creates a symmetrical light pattern on the ground around the light.

Bysted Garden is a smaller version of the classic Bysted luminaire, with which Peter Bysted won second prize in a competition organised by the manufacturer Louis Poulsen almost 50 years ago for the lighting of neighbourhoods with listed buildings.

Since 1874, the manufacturer Louis Poulsen has stood for outstanding design and high-quality craftsmanship. The Scandinavian design principle of "form follows function" is always the focus. Function and design are coordinated to reflect and support the rhythm of natural light.
