Designer LED pendant light Soleil - Very classic in form, totally modern in colour The Soleil LED pendant light by designer Philip Bro Ludvigsen looks elegant and modern. It impresses with its elegant and flat lampshade. Thanks to its wide light distribution, the light is perfect for use in the kitchen. The natural look is complemented by a wooden surround on the socket. Since the early 1990s, Philip Bro Ludvigsen has designed many classic lamps for LE KLINT, all with modern variations. His latest design is the Soleil series, where Philip Bro has further reworked the traditional hand-folded lampshades to deliver a stunning design in a beautiful combination of aluminium, flax and oak wood. Soleil means "sun" in French and this latest design emits the same characteristics of light distribution from its centre as our main star in our solar system. Le KLINT has been manufacturing exclusively in Denmark since the company was founded in 1943 and has a remarkable history steeped in tradition. The folded lampshades are now known all over the world as the Danish manufacturer's trademark. This type of craftsmanship is now only practised in Odense.
