LED pendant light Minimal – tall ceramic cylinder

With Minimal, young Mexican designer David Pompa has incorporated traditional craftsmanship into a modern pendant light – an approach that perfectly matches the concept of manufacturer kdln. The majority of the light is made from hand-crafted pottery that has been fired to create ceramic. This is Barro Negro, a type of ceramic with an unusually dark and iridescent colour. A metal bracket is attached to the top.

As the name suggests, the design is kept simple: a long, vertical cylinder. Its downward-facing opening provides direct LED lighting; especially in groups of several lights, Minimal is ideal as a light source above tables, reception areas, etc.
