The LED pendant light Plancton also scores with these characteristics. Designer Matteo Ugolini was inspired by the ubiquitous microorganisms in the sea, the plankton. The floating character of their locomotion is implemented in the pendant light by means of frayed fibre ends at the lower edge of the shade. The material used for Plancton is fibreglass, which is processed into a dense fabric. The white hemispherical lampshade, which is open at the bottom, is suitable as a luminous Akzent in outdoor areas and also provides direct lighting on the veranda or terrace. The 5 metre long cable can be wound over beams etc., allowing you to choose the right height for the pendant.
